Mount Abu the only hill resort of Rajasthan situated in the lap of the oldest mountain range on Earth the Aravali at an altitude of 1220 meters. It is a pleasant retreat, set amidst the lush forested hills. On the road leading to Mount Abu, one can hardly fail to be impressed with the grandeur and the scenic beauty, the gigantic blocks of rocks, towering along the crest of the hill, are especially striking, in some cases so weather- worn, that they present most fanciful and weird shapes.

Delaware ‘the group of temples’ are renowned temples which are the greatest draw at Mount Abu. The temples’ sober exterior belies the wealth of the inner omamentation. Built between the 11th and 13th centuries these temples are a marvel in white marble. There are five main temples in the main group.
